Summertime is one of the most enjoyable seasons in the Northland. The good news is most of our real estate is located a very short distance to parks, recreational trails, and waterfront access. The key is often knowing where these access points are.
Having lived in the Northland my entire life there are very few areas I wouldn’t want to live in. From East side to West side, from the top of the hill to the bottom, there’s just SO MUCH beauty in this area on Lake Superior.
I’ve traveled to the most beautiful spaces in the world and yet I always come back to how beautiful my hometown is. Plus it’s a reasonable place to raise a family, and have pets, the communities are pleasant. There’s just so much good happening in a good way.
Also as an indigenous person, I see the ways our communities get along and make efforts to conserve all that’s good in intentionally good ways. Our communities advocate for good water, healthy environments for all, and we build intentional discussion around decision-making. Whether you’re a business owner looking to support community employment, a college student looking to gain knowledge by living in this beautiful college community, a hospital worker helping communities thrive in good health, or just part of the people. We walk in a good way in the Twin Ports.
So, don’t skip the summer fun. Just know Summer fun is located all around you. Take a walk, jog or bike ride on our abundant trails. Access the beaches and waterfront nearby. Enjoy larger gatherings in our beautiful parks. Whatever you’re aiming for, remember home ownership builds your own nest egg, so why not build it where you love to play? This is the place!
